L. C. has a Masters degree and over 50 years of experience in leadership and organizational development. He is politically engaged and emphasizes the importance of community engagement and empowerment. He retired from General Dynamics after 20 years and operates an investment firm. He is also retired from the US Army and received a bronze star medal during his service in the Vietnam War.
Dr Denise St Patrick Bell, Operations Consultant -Families First and Behavioral Health
Dr. Bell has over 30 years of experience in organizational development, psychology, higher education. She is also a published author. She is an experienced grants writer and brings great strength in the area of Child Welfare, and Children’s Behavioral Health. Among her accomplishments she was National Kellogg Foundation Leadership FELLOW; Appointment by Governor Charlie Crist to the Board of Directors of the Florida Fund for Minority Teachers, President Barack Obama’s 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award; Sun Sentinel Legacy Magazine Influential and Prominent Black Women in Business and Leadership Award.
Dr. Sharon Brown, STRANDED Female Initiatives Consultant
Dr. Brown has more than 20 years of experience being an advocate for girls and women who have been exploited in the form of being sex trafficked victims. She has firsthand experience as she survived this situation. Her professional experiences as a life coach, five star author, screenwriter, activists, lobbyist, trainer/speaker for the U.S. Dept. Health and Human Services, brings great strength to our organization.
Dr. Eric Carter, Consultant Male Initiatives
Dr. Carter has more than 20 years working with inner city youth as an educator, athletic coach, mentor and designer of culturally and gender specific programs. He has a strong desire to ensure that teen males embrace character development through making it relevant to real life situations.
Jeffrey Cortinas, Associate Director of Intergovernmental and Latino Relations
Mr. Cortinas has an MBA from Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University in human resources management and leadership development. He has more 5 years of corporate management experience and enjoys bringing people together to address a common cause. He is also bilingual and strives to engage the Latino community. He is also a US Navy Veteran.
Kendrick Jackson, Associate Director of Contract Compliance Management & Organizational Planning
Mr. Jackson has a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Administration from Florida Agriculture and Mechanical University, He is presently working on is MBA. He has 6 years of experience working in healthcare Management, contract compliance and economic development.
